LIEGE-ROME-LIEGE
Extra-special event this year for the 75th anniversary of the legendary Liege Rally
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the legendary Liège-Rome-Liège rally, Alain Defalle and his team have planned a special event running from June 20-24. The route will start at the Stelvio pass at sunset and will finish on a private beach in Portorose in Slovenia.
'If there is one Liège-Rome-Liège you should do, this is it,' says Defalle.
'In the past the event has been open only to pre-1960s cars but this year we have extended eligibility to include pre-1970 models so owners of TR4s, E-types and such like will be able to join us.'
Defalle has uncovered some superb roads which have not been used by the organisers since the '50s. Defalle says that each day will finish with enough time to allow competitors to enjoy plenty of socialising in some of the most beautiful locations in Europe.

But the Liege Rome Liege is an Adventure.
A true monument of motor sport, the Liege Rome Liege rally was a fantastic human and engineering adventure and still is today. Keeping to an average speed of between 45 and 50 k.p.h. on mountain roads, both when ascending and descending these famous high passes, demands patience, concentration, skill and harmonious teamwork.
