Road book and Road maps

The whole LIEGE-ROME-LIEGE course is shown by means of arrows and indications of distance in the road book. Moreover, each team receives a road book map, which gives additional help since the whole itinerary is traced on sections of the road maps limited to the course.
However, you are strongly recommended to provide yourselves with road maps of the countries through which you will pass in case you should leave the rally route for a short time.

Transport of cars by lorry

If you do not wish to drive your rally car as far as Bormio (Brussels-Bormio: 860km) or for the return journey from Portorose after the Rally (Portorose-Brussels: 1320km), we can have it transported for you, by lorry.

The cars will be loaded and unloaded from a major European city.
Your car will be waiting for you at Bergamo airport (Orio del Serio) as from Sunday 19 June 2005 and we will pick it up on the hotel car park at arrival in Portorose on Friday 24 June 2005.
It is also possible to have your car collected and returned to and from home for a personalised service.

Money and Currencies

It goes without saying that the euro is the currency for Italy.

As for Slovenia, the currency of the country is the Tolar (SIT)

1 EUR = 239,780 SIT
1 SIT = 0,0042 EUR

1 GBP = 351,842 SIT
1 SIT = 0,0028 GBP

1 USD = 186, 550 SIT
1 SIT = 0,0054 USD

However, in practice, the euro is very well accepted in most shops, service stations and HORECA businesses. Of course, credit cards are also welcome.
