The spirit of Liège Rome Liège is blowing through the air of the Fiery City

The shopkeepers of the Galeries St Lambert, the shopping mall in the heart of Liège, are delighted to participate in the Liège Rome Liège Rally to celebrate the 75th anniversary in the birthplace of this event.

The Galeries St Lambert offer a hospitable shopping precinct where it’s good to stroll around and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience.

The emotional tie does not stop there. If the façade of the Galeries St Lambert could speak, (at that time, it was called “Le Grand Bazar”), they would tell us about the starts of the Liège Rome Liège Rallies of yesteryear from the courtyard of the Prince-Bishops’ Palace, which stands right opposite.

From Saturday, 11 June, the entire shopping mall is going to beat to the pulse of the vintage car and the Liège Rome Liège Rally in particular.

Activities, promotional games, exhibitions of vintage cars ... are going to enliven this warm and bustling space already well known to the people of Liège until 25 June.

The mall might even become the rallying point throughout the week of the Rally, where vintage and classic car lovers, enthusiasts or mere visitors will be able to keep themselves informed of the progress of the race, or just come and do their shopping in an authentic and historic atmosphere at one and the same time.

There is even a rumour running through the shelves of Media Markt that preparations for a special Fathers Day celebration activity might be under way...

Keep a lookout for an upcoming full presentation of this event, which will enjoy substantial media coverage by both the written and oral press.

There really is something going on at the Galeries St Lambert all the time.

Dear Alain,

I have read with interest the details of the 2005 Liege, and would greatly like to take part. I drove in the 1961, 1962 and 1963 Liege Sofia Liege events (...)

It would be great fun to traverse some of the same area forty years on....
